Talk of the Stalk: Ice Cream Cake #2

I'm excited to introduce to y'all, a grow named BFF Natural. This grow is located in Parachute, CO or what would be considered one of Colorado's many infamous, tiny, mountain towns. Considering that they are located on the Western Slope part of the state, I was ecstatic to get a taste of what kind of energy flows through the hands of this company. I have four different strains from this grow. This is going to be part of my Talk of the Stalk (T.O.T.S) segment that will be focusing on my personal experience with different strains of Cannabis flower.

To start, the bud came packaged into a super cute, high-end glass container with a wooden cap. The feeling I got just by looking at the packaging, made me feel as giddy as a school squirrel. Unfortunately, that same container gave off an awkward "factory" smell. I know this was unintentional, so I placed these buds into a different, tightly sealed, glass jar over night. Doing this got rid of the initial jar stench and brought some of the earthy terpene profiles out, but nothing too fragrant or distinguishable. I really try not to go into sampling with any expectations, but the batch notes (located on all the packaging in CO(by law) mentioned that this strain was harvested on 09/16/2021, so I'm not surprised that the buds didn't give off a strong scent. If there was something that I was 100% sure of, there wasn't a single hint of fruitiness from this flower while smelling or smoking it.

Almost immediately after taking the first initial hit off of my freshly packed bowl, my body felt a light intoxicating buzz. This feeling (for me) was comparable to what drinking a very popular 12oz, low percentage, alcohol infused, seltzer water feels like. Right after my body high engaged, my mind started racing! At one point, I was imagining my husband and I living a life together, but one hundred years into the past! I also couldn't stop talking if my life depended on it (lol)! My husband mention he was quit depleted after our long 100 year journey into the past, so while I burned off my excess energy, He took a short nap. This type of experience was consistent throughout my full 1/8th of an ounce (3.5g).
